Lovely Materials

True to the name.

The base of the Material Dock is milled from solid walnut, and given a matte finish. The backing Apple Watch piece is made of molded cork, an extremely bio-friendly material. The materials provide a lovely contrast to the glass, steel, and aluminum of the iPhone. Since the Material Dock base is made from solid wood, each one has a unique color tone and grain pattern.

Good Dock

Bought for my wife and she really likes the look and feel of this dock. It was easy to set up.

Only downside is the base is a bit lighter than I would have hoped. The chords took a bit to wrangle to stay down and we didn't want to put the adhesions down until we got it in just the right spot.

“Some assembly required”, sure. But this is without a doubt the best dock I own and it matches my desk and decor very well. In typical SN fashion, it is somehow both minimal and decorative. I was skeptical of the microsuction but it’s no joke. If it stops sticking, wet it and it’ll work again. Amazing product.

Great product

I have taken the duo dock, to charge two iPhones together on the bedside. Right now there are no good MagSafe chargers serving that need. Material dock is great very “Neat" to look at. One improvement that can be thought about is about cabling out of the doc to plug - now I have two wires going from each of the MagSafe pucks, if there is a better way to tie them together so that it won’t show up much or tangle between them. Also one point of improvement on the dock itself, the new iPhone pro max is quite heavy and having that phone alone on the top dock tilts the stand forward.
