Mark One
Mark One accepts the Schmidt P8126 refill, or any Parker-style refill. View here for a comprehensive list. The Schmidt P8126 has a 0.6mm tip. The 8126 Mini is for the Mark Two; it is too short for the Mark One. How to change the refill on your Mark One.

Mark Two

Secret Ingredient

The Mark One is a fantastic pen in the hand, with a very satisfying click. And the secret ingredient is the fantastic refill — very smooth writing, and smudge-free. I ordered extra refills so that I don’t have to go days without using my Mark One.

Inkling of Greatness

You cannot go wrong with these refills or pens. Mark my words! I own a Mark I and a Mark II and they both are every bit of wonderful quality I need. Sturdy construction, consistent quality, and excellent look and feel.

The ink is better than you’ll find at other online retailers, and yes I ordered tested, tracked, and realized this ink last longer and more consistently than the knockoffs.

My only complaint is when I’ve dropped the pen directly on the nib. The ink immediately stops flowing. My last ink was only a few days old and it slipped off my counter onto the nib and it was dead as a doornail. Great for making inscriptions in paper. Not great for writing.

With that in mind, I fully recommend purchasing everything Tom and Dan produce. You will not be disappointed. Attention to detail and excellent craftsmanship abound in their products from nib to knock.
