Minimal
Nothing extraneous.
Mark Two was designed to be minimal and beautiful. There are no logos or excess ornamentation, and the seam on the body (to unscrew and replace the refill) is nearly completely hidden by a post-polishing process. The black cerakote sleeve has a slightly textured, matte finish, and the body is polished and smooth.

Pocketable
Take it with you.
Mark Two is quite short when sleeved, making it an ideal pen to carry in your pocket or purse. However, the magic happens when you post the sleeve on the body. Due to a clever bit of engineering, the pen elongates to a full length when posted. And when you are ready to cap it again, the body slides into the sleeve with a satisfying magnetic closure.

Durable
Made to last a lifetime.
If you’re going to be carrying a pen around every day, it needs to be durable. Mark Two is made entirely out of stainless steel. The outer sleeve is coated with Cerakote, a robust ceramic-polymer coating that wears beautifully. This pen should last a lifetime.

Refill
A mini version of the beloved Schmidt.
We were delighted to discover Schmidt makes a mini version of their amazing P8126 rollerball refill, identical in every way except the length. Perfect for a pocket pen. The Schmidt P8126 mini is what ships with Mark Two, but our pen will also work with a D1 refill and our custom D1 Adaptor.

With or without a clip
Whatever suits you best.
We know tons of folks want a clip on their everyday carry pen, which is why we included one in the original design for Mark Two. However, in this new revision, we are now offering an option with no clip. If you prefer the clean, almost bullet-like appearance, clip-less is a great option.

Frequently Asked Questions
How does the Mark Two transition from pocket size to full length?

I am a nurse and so hoped that this pen would work for me, as it is compact and easy to carry. However, I can’t even get thru my shift without it either running out of ink or not writing properly. I’m not sure if it’s out of ink or that the ink isn’t flowing properly. Very , very disappointing for the price.
I picked up the Mark 2 in green. It was out of stock but within a few days it came back into stock. I picked it to go with a 3 by 5 leather note book I’m having made.
I wanted a small and minimal looking pen with nothing on it because the leather book has loops for the pen and also holds the book closed. The Mark 2 was the perfect pen for my needs. I ended up enjoying the construction and how well it writes.
I stumbled across your limited editions of the past. I want some of them. Sorry I missed out. Hopefully you will re-release some of the them in the future.
First of all, the weight of this pen is perfect. It has a perfect balance to it and the rollerball is a joy to write with. The magnetic 'click' when you put it together is incredibly satisfying, its hard to find anything to complain about. Last, the size of it when the pen side is away is so small, and it practically disappears when you pocket it. Perfect for EDC
I absolutely love the pen and the notepads. Incredible. That being said I had an issue with one of the pens and it takes about 48-72 hours to get any follow up from customer service. I hope this gets better and we get a resolution to my issue- truly it shouldn't take a week to get any traction. Again, I recommend this pen to everyone- it's incredible.
Smooth and compact. Great for travel!
